About this calculator

How to use ACFT Score Calculator, plus the formulas and logic behind the results.

Tool description

The Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) scores six events on a 0–100 scale each. This tool approximates points for training—not official record keeping.

How to use

  1. Enter best recent results for each event.
  2. Format timed events as mm:ss (e.g., 2:05).
  3. Calculate to see per-event and total points.
  4. Train weakest events for fastest total gains.

Formulas & reference

  • Each event maps to 0–100 points (approx.)
  • Total = sum of six event scores
  • Timed events: faster usually = more points

ACFT events

  • MDL: 3RM deadlift
  • SPT: standing power throw
  • HRP: hand-release push-ups
  • SDC: sprint-drag-carry
  • PLK: forearm plank
  • 2MR: 2-mile run

Calculation logic

Simplified lookup curves convert each performance metric to points, then sum for total ACFT score.

Official scoring tables change and may differ by age/sex policy. Verify with current Army guidance.
